VIDIFI pays tribute to the families of martyrs and people who contributed to the revolution on the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day

Towards the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2026), Vietnam Infrastructure Development and Financial Investment Corporation (VIDIFI) has organized many practical activities to express deep gratitude to martyrs, war invalids, sick soldiers, people with meritorious services to the revolution and policy families. Meaningful activities are implemented at units throughout the Corporation, contributing to spreading the tradition of "Drinking water, remember the source", "Repaying gratitude" - a value that VIDIFI always preserves and promotes throughout the process of construction and development.

Visiting and expressing gratitude to families of officers and employees whose relatives are martyrs

On July 22, representatives of the Corporation's Trade Union, leaders of units and department Trade Unions organized delegations to visit, encourage and give gifts to families of officials and employees whose relatives are martyrs and people with meritorious services to the revolution.

At VIDIFI Road Construction and Maintenance Enterprise, the delegation visited the families of comrades Pham Van Nhan, Do Thi Thuy and Nguyen Thi Hong, sent sincere greetings, and expressed gratitude for the sacrifices and contributions of previous generations for the independence and freedom of the nation.

On the same day, at the National Highway 5 Maintenance and Operation Management Board, representatives of the Corporation's Trade Union and leaders of Toll Stations No. 1 and 2 visited the families of comrade Ly Van Chien and comrade Tran Van Duong - officials whose fathers were martyrs. The gifts and sincere words of encouragement demonstrate the care and sharing of the VIDIFI team for policy families and officers and workers throughout the Corporation.

VIDIFI youth continues the tradition of "Drinking water, remember the source"

Responding to gratitude activities on the occasion of July 27, VIDIFI Youth Union actively participated in many programs jointly organized by the Vietnam Development Bank (VDB) Youth Union.

Within the framework of the program "Journey to the source - Lighting the fire of gratitude, continuing the tradition", VIDIFI and VDB youth groups offered incense, lit candles of gratitude at the A1 National Martyrs Cemetery, offered incense at historical sites of Dien Bien Phu Battlefield and participated in activities of visiting and giving gifts to families of people who contributed to the revolution in the area. The journey not only helps union members understand more deeply the heroic history of the nation but also fosters a sense of responsibility, gratitude and a sense of dedication in work and life.

Join hands to spread gratitude locally

On July 27, 2026, VIDIFI Youth Union coordinated with the Youth Union of Hanoi - Hai Phong Expressway Management and Operation Company Limited, the local Youth Union and the authorities of Ha Dong commune (Hai Phong city) to organize a series of gratitude activities for policy families in the area.

The delegation visited and gave gifts to five families of martyrs and war invalids in Ha Dong commune - where the National Highway 390 toll station is located. At the same time, youth union members participated in an incense offering ceremony and lit candles of gratitude at Vinh Lap Martyrs Cemetery in a solemn and respectful atmosphere. Through meetings and conversations with wounded soldiers and martyrs' families, youth union members understand more and more the value of peace today, thereby nurturing a sense of responsibility, a sense of dedication and continuing the good traditions of previous generations.
